LEADING papercrafting supplier Crafter’s Companion has announced that it is set to make Hochanda, The Home of Crafts, Hobbies and Arts, its new TV shopping home.
Crafter’s Companion will officially move on March 3rd and become a strategic partner to the fast-growing crowdfunded TV channel. The exclusive deal will see the company’s high-profile craft presenters including founder Sara Davies, Leann Chivers, Debbie Shore, Fiona Clayton and Sheena Douglas move all their shows to Hochanda.
To celebrate the new partnership, Sara Davies will be exclusively unveiling the latest range in her signature collection as part of a huge Crafter’s Companion week-long takeover event. The craft supplies company will be on air for over 100 live hours throughout March launching new machines, Die’sire die collections, Debbie Shore sewing accessories, Sheena Douglass art products and the latest Spectrum Noir colouring products.
Sara Davies said: “We are delighted to be moving to Hochanda and our team is thrilled to be launching several exciting new products live as part of our launch event. We have been really impressed with Hochanda’s customer-focused approach since launching. Our aim is to work closely together with their team to grow their audience and our customer base. Given the channel’s focus on educating and inspiring crafters and hobbyists, it fits very well with our brand and the way we engage with the craft community.”
Hochanda is a home shopping channel dedicated to crafts hobbies and arts, broadcasting 24/7, as well as streaming via its website (IPTV) live 9am to 9pm on Sky 663, Freesat 817 and Freeview 39.
Founder of Hochanda Paul Wright said: “Sara and her team at Crafter’s Companion are one of the most well-respected and exciting craft suppliers in the sector, so to have them on board as a strategic partner is a massive coup for Hochanda. We are committed to providing our viewers with a variety of demonstration-led shows that will educate, entertain and inspire all. Adding the Crafter’s Companion team to the Hochanda family is a very exciting development for us as part of our ongoing commitment and focus to our customers. We expect thousands of excited crafters from across the UK to tune-in to Hochanda on the 3rd March to welcome Crafter’s Companion to their new TV shopping home.”
The news comes hot on the heels of Crafter’s Companion unveiling plans to open its own retail outlet in the North-East in a bid to attract more people into craft and provide a training centre for independent craft retailers through a Retail Centre for Excellence.
