LEADING craft presenter Leonie Pujol has unveiled that she is to develop her own range of products with the help of Crafter’s Companion.
The Hochanda star has selected the leading papercraft firm as her manufacturing partner for several product launches, starting with a new papercrafting stencil collection.
The range will launch live on Hochanda and will subsequently be available in retail stores throughout the UK, distributed through the Crafter’s Companion network of area managers.
Leonie is the latest in a long list of high-profile craft presenters to team-up with Crafter’s Companion. Debbie Shore and Sheena Douglass have utilised the company’s manufacturing know-how for many years and have both gone on to become major personalities for the craft supplier.
Leonie said: “Having seen the work Crafter’s Companion has done with Debbie, Sheena and many other licensed brands like Downton Abbey, they were the natural choice to help me develop my own craft range.
“I’m very excited to be working with Sara, Leann and the rest of the team to create some fabulous new products that will hopefully be hit with consumers and retailers.”
Leonie is known for her love for all things craft especially papercrafting and cardmaking. Following the initial launch, products such as stamps and dies are expected to be added to her collection later this year.
Leann Chivers, head of creative development at Crafter’s Companion, said: “We are delighted Leonie has chosen us to manufacture her products and our team cannot wait to work with her on developing her range as she is always full of such amazing ideas.
“Our job will be to collaborate with Leonie and make her ideas a reality. Given she has such a unique style and passion for craft, we can’t wait to produce a range that crafters will love.”
The news comes hot on the heels of the move by Crafter’s Companion to Hochanda at the start of the month, making the channel its new TV shopping home.
Sara Davies said: “We have been simply overwhelmed by the response from our customers and craft enthusiasts across the UK since we went on-air with our friends at Hochanda.
“The timing of the deal with Leonie is perfect given the recent move. By having a lead presenter on Hochanda with her own range manufactured by our company, it just further cements the strength of our partnership.
“I’ve got to know Leonie really well over the years and she has become a close friend as well as an industry colleague so we will be working extra hard to bring her ideas to life.”
