A big thank you to all our members who visited us at the recent Craft Hobby + Stitch International show. It was really great to see our members and to have a chat about their business developments and how the CHA-UK can help.
An especially big thank you and a warm welcome to new members who joined at the show or will be joining us shortly…in which case please do not delay!
We hope that you found both our new Information booklet and initial bi-annual Newsletter to be informative about the CHA-UK and what is happening within the Association.
Our Networking evening, which was held immediately after the AGM, proved to be even more successful than the same event last year, both in the number of people attending the evening and also the buzz around the event which was electric. We hope that all members and visitors who came to the Networking evening got a positive feel about the event and had the opportunity to meet board members and other peers within the industry.
Our board chairman, Tony Sheridan, who had introduced and welcomed our new Board directors* commented “It was a pleasure to host hundreds of industry colleagues – designers, buyers, retailers, manufacturers and distributors from all areas of the creative crafts industry including international visitors as well. It is rare that such a diverse collective has an opportunity to ‘network together’. The evening was both enjoyable and productive and I’m delighted that CHA-UK was able to host this event for its members.

Remember our motto “Make Our Association Your Association” as together we can grow the CHA-UK to become more and more representative of our members to develop the creative crafts industry in the UK.
