The One Big Show takes place once a year and supports creative businesses large and small
The One Big Show is the Association for Creative Industries UK’s (AFCI.UK) annual event for those who work in the creative, craft and hobby. The One Big Show isn’t like any other trade event, and is a mid-year chance for trade to touch base with one another as well as teach, inspire, connect, increase sales and gain insights into the creative sector.
It’s also an opportunity to showcase brands, products and services, engage with major and independent buyers, distributors, publications and key influencers, as well as create advocates and develop good partnerships. It also features the popular Creative Exchanges for craft designers, where they can share with like-minded experts within the industry.
Whether you are a designer, manufacturer or retailer there’ll be something at the show that will help you to improve your business over the forthcoming year. With two full days, attendees will get the chance to expand their network, discover new ideas, get one-on-one business mentoring, see new products, get hints and tips on running your business, sit in on informative discussions, learn how to harness the power of the digital era, and if you have a new product in development, the chance to make a presentation to the Creative Dragons!
Change of venue
For 2018, The One Big Show has moved to Daventry. The Mercure Daventry Court Hotel has been selected for it’s central location and superb facilities. It’s close to the M40, minutes away from junction 18 of the M1, 30 miles from Birmingham airport making it easy for attendees to reach from all parts of the UK.
The hotel is a stylish modern four-star hotel located in the Saxon market town, and has 150 rooms, and conference facilities with free Wi-Fi and ample on-site parking for all who attend.

Over both days, the Creative Dragons sessions will give you the chance to present to a panel of experts and industry leaders. They say all the best deals and contacts are made at the bar! On Sunday evening, everyone is invited to enjoy a drink and food to unwind. This year will have a few nice surprises and should not be missed. Business seminars and training sessions
Everyday is a learning day and during the event, there will be a host of business seminars running throughout the day in seminar room covering helpful and informative. Each day also consists of a series of brand and product training sessions held in the show area of the main hall.
